PAI released the third of three planned mTAB™ service enhancements on November 9th, 2007. Each of the three 2007 mTAB™ releases featured functional enhancements to the mTAB™ service. Highlights of this release include automated significance testing and the ability to display filter detail. A comprehensive reference to all new features added in these releases is available through the mTAB™ Support page.
While PAI will continue to support the legacy mTAB™ desktop software for existing customers in the foreseeable future, new service enhancements will be limited to the mTAB™ web service.
The web based mTAB™ service, was launched in beta form to customers in January 2004 and on November 18, 2007 registered a cumulative 500,000 customer cross tabulations . With several recent customer account additions yielding thousands of new web service users and with the vast majority of existing legacy desktop mTAB™ customers migrating to the mTAB™ web service, PAI anticipates exceeding 1,000,000 customer mTAB™ web service crosstab runs in the near future.
PAI is proud to announce the second of three mTAB™ service upgrades scheduled for 2007. This upgrade, officially released June 30, 2007, offers a wide variety of new functional enhancements for the consumer insights analyst, including enhanced workgroup functionality for mTAB™’s question formats and saved tab content, incorporation of colorization into the spreadsheet view and TopN views, based upon spreadsheet cell value criteria and many additional convenience and performance enhancements.
The 2007 Release 2 enhancements to the mTAB™ service follow the Release 1 enhancements released March 31, 2007. Those enhancements included the powerful new “Ignore Filter” option for column questions along with enhanced workgroup functionality for recoding, which include the ability to save a development or “draft” recode that can be published to the workgroup upon completion.
